The General Scholarship Endowment Fund was established in 1985. Designated contributions are added to the fund’s principal, managed by an investment trustee. The profits of this fund are used solely for scholarships to Trinity Lutheran School students. A Scholarship Committee awards the financial aid based on family need.

At Trinity Lutheran School, there are additional endowment accounts established by individuals, families, or estates: whose profits are also used for financial aid. If you are interested in establishing such an account in your family name, please tell us and we will be happy to advise you of the process.

In the past 25 years, through the school year of 2012/13, over $262,000 has been distributed in financial aid to TLS students from these funds. Trinity Lutheran Church and School are grateful to the generous people who have established the endowments and to all contributors who ensure this financial assistance to our students.

If you wish to contribute to either the Endowment fund, or the Trinity Fund, please send your gift to Trinity Lutheran Church office.

Contributing to the Trinity Fund or the Endowment Fund may be a tax deduction for you under present state and federal laws. Please consult with a financial or tax advisor for federal and state guidelines, as well as any other options that may benefit both TLC/S and you, the donor. No goods or services can be exchanged for your gift.
