Since 1890, we have been investing in the lives of young people in Portland, Oregon. Currently Trinity has a full and part-time staff serving about 60 students from Kindergarten through Grade 8 and a year-round Early Childhood program with about 80 children. Maintenance Director for Trinity Lutheran Church and School

Salary: Based on experience ($20 to $25 per hour)
Employment type: Immediate opening for part-time (20 hours/week) employee with flexible schedule
Job description: Maintenance Director for Trinity Lutheran Church and School
Job responsibilities: Overall maintenance of facilities and grounds, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, groundskeeping, landscaping, painting, and minor structural repairs. Must recruit, train, and supervise volunteer crews to meet maintenance needs beyond what the Director can accomplish his- or herself.
Minimum requirements: The successful candidate must
-possess a high school diploma or equivalent and some credible experience relative to the job description
-have the ability to use computers for communication and record-keeping
-have the ability to lift 60 lbs and operate the machinery required by this job
-present verifiable references
– pass a background check and drug screening.
