Sunday, July 27th – 11 am to 4:00 pm
A Fun Volunteer Opportunity.
Do you have just two hours of time to help promote our amazing Trinity Lutheran Church and School?
We can be the “TLC/S helping force” as Intersection Superhero volunteers.
Every single intersection along the course must be monitored by volunteers.
The job is simple, but important – we must help out neighbors who are affected by the closed streets.
· The main responsibility is helping neighbors in cars get on or off the closed street.
· One Trinity group member will monitor the same intersection as last year and four to six will help cut the tops off the Otter Pops and pass them out along with a small card.
Our intersection is NE 37th & Going. – Go directly to our intersection for your shift.
The volunteer shifts/positions
Shift One: Set up – 10 am to 12 Noon
Shift Two: 12 Noon to 2 pm
Shift Three: 2 pm to 4 pm
Shift Four: 4 pm to 5 pm – break down of tent
We will be able to put our tent to the side of the block for the whole event.
· One person on our team per shift must be trained as an Intersection Superhero, must wear the Sunday Parkways t-shirt identifying them as an Intersection Superhero, and must prioritize the needs of Sunday Parkways over all needs of your organization.
· All other people on our team are welcome to enjoy the event, wear your TLS t-shirts, engage with the public and spread the cheer of your organization far and wide.
