I saw a video on leadership recently that got me thinking. The video was about how leadership is not some lofty goal we are incapable of attaining. True leadership happens on the ground—in the small moments of life. The story was about how one person was impacted through the simple giving of a lollipop. How many of us have been changed forever by an encounter with a stranger? A warm welcome? A friendly face? An extended hand when we are struggling?
We are excited about how to “lead with lollipops” at Trinity in the coming year. Ways we can be intentional about welcoming people to our community or reaching out a hand to someone that looks troubled. Checking in with people who you haven’t seen in a while to make sure they are doing ok. These are the moments of true leadership and Trinity can be a place where leadership and service to one another is fostered and breathes life into our community!
SAVE THE DATE—our May PTO meeting is May 19th, 6:00-7:30pm. Let’s come together to share ideas and set plans in motion for the coming year! Volunteer opportunities range from 1-10+ hours in order to accommodate your schedule!
